*Position Summary:
*Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Nurses, assist in pre and post eps procedure patient care. Direct "hands on" care includes arterial sheath removal and vital sign monitoring and measurement. Accountable for Inventory management to include stock assessments, order preparation, supply acquisition, stocking and product research. Cross-trained to provide support throughout the department in multiple duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

| Requirements: |
**THIS IS A PER DIEM POSITION PLEASE APPLY ACCORDINGLY**
* Experience: 1-3 years direct patient care preferred. Monitoring, measurement, and documentation of vital signs required. Sterile technique required. Working familiarity with personal computer preferred. Inventory management preferred.
* Education: High school or G.E.D. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Nurses Aide training.
* Other Required License/Credentials/Skills: Nurse Aide certification preferred. BLS certification. EKG and or phlebotomy certification preferred.
* Contact With Others: Regular internal and/or external contacts involving tact, discretion, and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action or consent.
* Supervision Given: None
* Supervision Received: Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse when performing patient care tasks. Performs duties independently, following established procedures and reporting periodically to immediate supervisor.
