*EP Nurse
*Position Summary:
*Provides patient care during all EPS procedures. Participates in research, responsible. For patient education pertinent to EP procedures. Assist in Pacemaker/ICD implants, assist in the education of the implant patient, and cross train with the pacemaker clinic staff to provide clinic coverage as needed.

| Requirements: |
Experience: 1 to 3 years cardiac/Critical Care nursing experience. Cath lab or EPS lab experience preferred.
*Education: minimum Associates Degree in Nursing with valid NJ licensure.
*Other Required License/Credentials/Skills: ACLS and BLS, IV certification , arrhythmia certification required. Conscious Sedation certification preferred.
*Contact With Others: Contact with other departments, furnishing or obtaining information or reports, requiring tact and discretion in order to obtain information.
*Supervision Given: Responsibilities of the position require some direction of others ie. technical staff.
*Supervision Received: Performs duties independently, following established procedures and reporting periodically to immediate supervisor.
